Cute video: Girl and gorilla become friends and 'kiss' at zoo

A little girl and a gorilla had a heart-melting moment when they seemed to strike up a friendship - and even shared a kiss through the glass at a US zoo.

The video was uploaded to YouTube, where the girl can be seen squealing with delight as she and the gorilla indulge in mimicry and appear to play with each other.

The pair then lean in for a kiss, which garners lots of 'aahs' from onlookers in the background.

But child/zoo animal interactions aren't always so fun - a family trip to a safari park got a little too up close and personal for one little girl back in April when a camel tried to have a little nibble on her head.
