Alex Gerrard shows off toned and tanned bikini body in Portugal

Alex Gerrard has been keeping her Twitter fans up to date with her recent health kick - and it's obviously paying off as she looked incredible on a holiday to Portugal.

The Scouse WAG showed off the results of her hard work in a bright print bikini by Beach Cafe as she strolled along the beach at Vale de Lobo.

She teamed the two-piece with cool mirrored aviators and a bun, soaking up the rays on the golden sand.

Vale de Lobo is a popular upmarket holiday destination in the Algarve, which, according to Tripadvisor, targets "the moderately wealthy to minor celebrity and sport star market".

However, it adds: "The mix of excellent beach, tennis and golf facilities still make it a great, convenient location for families and older groups with generally lovely sunny weather."

The area boasts two golf courses, and a myriad of oceanside restaurants, offering Portuguese and English-style fare.
