40% 'will work during holidays'

Updated:
HolidayTwo out of five people will work during their summer holidays, often taking business-related phone calls, according to a new study.

A survey of 4,000 adults also found that one in three will work for between one and three hours a day while on their summer break.

Office workspace firm Regus said its report showed that a growing number of small business owners and entrepreneurs might not want to switch off from work.

Managing director Steve Purdy said it could also be a sign that workers are overstretched and insecure in their jobs.
