Pay issues linked to lost work days

Pay and pensions were the main cause of working days lost to industrial disputes in 2011 and 2012, according to new research.

More than nine out of 10 days lost over the two years were because of pay issues, compared to just one in four in 2009/10, said the Office for National Statistics.
