One-off supercar to make London debut

This is the Icona Vulcano, a strictly one-off Italian supercar from Claudio Lombardi, team manager of Ferrari's Formula 1 team during its dominant 90s era.

Powered by a front-mounted V12 engine boosted by a hybrid drivetrain, the Vulcano develops a class dominating 950bhp, enough to get it to 120mph from a standstill in just nine seconds.> Given enough room, the car will sail all the way to a Ferrari Enzo-rivalling 217mph.
Aping the aggressive lines of Ferrari's current production flagship, the F12, the Vulcano was designed in Shanghai by former Jaguar Land Rover pensman Samuel Chuffart.

The car will be unveiled at the exclusive Salon Prive supercar show at London's Syon Park and will be available to view from the 4th-6th September.

Want one? You'll have your work cut out. Aside from being completely unique, the Vulcano comes with a £1.9million price tag, which, for a car with zero history or pedigree, is going to be a hard sum to swallow, even for the most well-heeled petrolhead.

David Bagley, sales director for Icona, commented: "Icona is a very exciting new brand and we are delighted that it has chosen Salon Privé for the UK debut of the Vulcano. It's a beautiful car and it is going to look fantastic within the Concepts & Prototypes Display."
