Crowds strip off as the sun shines on Glastonbury

Festival-goers have been stripping off to bask in glorious sunshine at Glastonbury Festival this weekend as the rain finally let up- and there's more warm weather on the way.

The festival, which is notorious for its wet weather, will experience temperatures of up to 20C today according to forecasters, with revellers being told by the festival's official Twitter feed (@glasto_weather) to "remove those wellies and get your dancing shoes on!"

While festival goers stripped off to enjoy the sunshine, The Sun reports that Prince Harry managed to remain fully clothed as he toured the festival grounds with new girlfriend Cressida Bonas.

Record crowds made their way to the iconic Pyramid stage last night for the debut of veteran band the Rolling Stones. Festival organiser Michael Eavis told the BBC that the Stones' performance was "the high spot of 43 years of Glastonbury."

The BBC exclusively broadcasted an unprecedented 240 hours of live performances during the festival streaming 120 acts on TV, radio and over the internet hoping to "reinvent music coverage as only the BBC can".

The three day festival ends this evening (Sunday).
