Clarkson and Top Gear crew create world's most expensive traffic jam
Filming for what appears to be a 'Best of British' episode, Jezza, Hammond and May could be seen piloting new Jaguar F-Types decked out in red, white and blue and all carrying large Union Jack flags.> Joining the team was a £200 million fleet of British-made machines that included vintage and modern Rolls-Royces, Aston Martins, a Lotus Formula 1 car, military vehicles, a full-scale Bloodhound SSC replica and even an ice cream van.
At one point, the Household Cavalry could be seen riding in amongst the group of exotic metal as Clarkson and the team joked, laughed and drank coffee.
Not one to be outdone, Clarkson even brought along his own invention, the P45. The controversial presenter invented the madcap motor during the last series of Top Gear where he was tasked with creating a miniature hybrid car.
The tiny P45 is a tribute to the Peel P50 and is based on a 100cc quad bike that sees its six foot five inch user practically wear the machine.
He went on to post an image of proceedings accompanied by the caption: "Top Gear's most ambitious shoot yet."
The presenter remained tight-lipped regarding further details of the momentous episode but Top Gear fans only have to hold on until Sunday, June 30 when a new series airs on BBC Two at 8pm.
