Network Rail debt surpasses £30bn

Network Rail's net debt has soared past £30 billion, the rail infrastructure company announced.

The net debt , which is guaranteed by the Government, rose from £27.28 billion in 2011/12 to more than £30.35 billion in 2012/13.
