Ever thought it's taking longer to find a car parking space? Well you're right, it is – new research has found British motorists spend on average an alarming 2,500 hours of their lifetime looking for a space.

The company ParkatmyHouse discovered the surprising statistic. Their research found as a nation, we spend on average 2,549 hours or 14 weeks looking for a space with London topping the list for hard-to-find spaces.
