Melanie Sykes soaks up the sun in bikini on a beach in... Dorset?

On first look, you'd be forgiven for thinking that Melanie Sykes was posing on the beach in some far-flung exotic destination.

But the TV presenter was actually enjoying the rays in her teeny gold bikini at a beach in Dorset.

On closer inspection, the pebbles might have given it away, and the hardy Northener braves the stony beach without so much as a towel.

But we don't think her fiancé, Jack Cockings, who uploaded this pic to his Twitter page, was thinking much about that.

He wrote next to the image: "Took this pic of @MsMelanieSykes looking absolutely incredible on West Bexington beach."

It's thought the pair were enjoying a mini pre-wedding break before preparing to tie the knot this weekend.

West Bexington is a village in south west Dorset, situated on the Chesil Beach, near Bridport.

Chesil Beach is part of the beautiful Jurassic Coast, which is a World Heritage Site, and consists of a 100 million ton bank of pebbles, stretching for 28 km to West Bay.

It is popular with tourists and walkers and, obviously, the odd celebrity.
