Video: Russian dash-cam captures high-speed lorry crash

It would appear that driving standards in the former Soviet Union are particularly alarming, given the almost daily updates of fresh footage showing the most calamitous of road traffic accidents.

The latest video to emerge is particularly shocking. Captured by a motorist driving down a seemingly deserted road, they are suddenly confronted by a high-speed lorry, which proceeds to overturn and smash into a tree in front of them, very nearly flattening them and another car.
