Waitrose monitors Ocado rival talks

The head of Waitrose has said it is at "defcon one" amid alarm over talks between its online partner Ocado and supermarket rival Morrisons.

Mark Price, managing director of the retailer, told The Sunday Telegraph its lawyers would seek to examine any tie-up between the other two companies and that it is now ramping up its own online service.
