Savers race to use up Isa allowance

Savers have just hours left to make the most of the current Isa allowance before the tax year ends.

Some websites have reported a surge in activity as savers make a last-minute dash to use up their cash Isa limit of £5,640 for 2012/13 before the new tax year starts on Saturday.
