Twilight actor Bronson Pelletier has been sentenced to two years' probation after pleading 'no contest' to a charge of public intoxication.

The Canadian star, who plays werewolf Jared in the films, was arrested after he urinated in the departure lounge of Los Angeles International Airport in December.

According to The Huffington Post, the 26-year-old was arrested at LAX after airport police responded to a call about an unruly passenger on a plane.

When they arrived, they removed Pelletier from the plane as he was deemed too intoxicated to fly.

He was allowed to sober up and take another flight, but police were called again when he stood up and urinated at the gate.

The actor was arrested for public intoxication, taken to jail and released shortly after.

According to TMZ, Pelletier was sentenced to two years' probation and was ordered to attend 52 AA meetings (two per week).

He had previously denied peeing at the airport, but the entire incident was caught on camera.
