Pair in court over JJB statements

A former executive chairman of retailer JJB Sports and his son have appeared in court charged over alleged misleading statements made to the market by the company in 2009, the Serious Fraud Office (SFO) said.

Sir David Jones, 70, of Ilkley, West Yorkshire, and his son, Stuart Jones, 38, of Bingley, West Yorkshire, faced Leeds Magistrates' Court, a spokesman said.%VIRTUAL-SkimlinksPromo%
