Video of the day: The Northern Lights over Iceland

This time lapse video captures beautifully the essence of both the Northern Lights and one of Iceland's most incredible regions: the Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon.

Jokulsarlon is the largest and deepest of the country's glacial lakes (apparently, it's growing all the time because of the melting glaciers).

Film maker Anna Possenberg says: "Few people know Iceland during winter time... they miss a beautiful part of the island: the snow covered rocks, the magic arctic light and especially the fantastic aurora borealis dancing in the sky."
