70% of homes 'cut back on heating'

Seven in 10 households went without heating this winter to cope with the "energy affordability crisis", research from a website has suggested.

More than one third (35%) of people surveyed this month also said that cutting back on energy usage is affecting their quality of life or health - up from one in six when similar research was carried out a year ago, uSwitch said.
