Hoorah for the flat-rate pension; it should encourage us to save

The coalition did it, they're introducing a flat-rate state pension of £144-a-week. There is some that never thought it would happen and other that now can't make up their mind about it.

I'm talking about the National Pensioners' Convention (NPC). The organisation put out a strongly worded statement last week describing the changes as a 'con trick'.
