The messiest and most expensive divorces

If your marriage is going so badly that you have to call a halt to it, then there's not a great deal of hope for a splendidly friendly divorce. However, while most couples get through the process with most of their dignity and at least a small portion of their assets intact, there are those who really go to town.

Recently property dealer Scot Young was jailed in the latest twist in his divorce from his wife Michelle. He claims he has no money and she claims he is hiding up to £400 million. The Judge was not satisfied with his response and jailed him for six months. The pair will continue their public battle later this year. But is this the messiest or the most expensive divorce?
