The FTSE 100 breached, just, the 6,100 threshold yesterday ending the day at 6,101.5. The largest riser was ARM Holdings, up +4.41% while Intertek saw the biggest slip, down -1.90%.

Overnight, the Japanese Nikkei advances on new Government stimulus aid, up 1.40% to 10,801; the Hang Seng slips -0.42% on Chinese inflation data concern.
