Top selling Qashqai welcomes new trim

Nissan's Qashqai, which has changed the fortunes on the brand over recent years, has launched a new edition called 360, and is set to be the best seller in the line-up.

Replacing the n-tec+, the Qashqai 360 sits between the Acenta and Tekna trims, and starts at £19,945 - the same price as the outgoing n-tec+ but with more equipment including 18-inch alloys, rear privacy glass, panoramic sunroof and 360 degrees around view monitor system which integrates satnav, Bluetooth and smartphone connectivity along with four cameras to aid parking.
The model also gets part leather trim and leather armrest, as well as gloss black roofrails, door mirrors and a new pearlescent paint called Storm White for £500 extra.

Available in its five-seater Qashqai and seven-seater Qashqai+2 iterations, the 360 is expected to account for 60 per cent of the model's sales, meaning that just one trim level outsold the entire Ford Mondeo range in 2012.

Starting from £19,945 for the five-door 1.6-litre 117bhp manual, the 360 is offered across all engine and transmission options, with the Qashqai+2 2.0-litre dCi 150bhp auto 4WD topping the range at £27,095.
