More cost-cutting at Thomas Cook

The new boss of Thomas Cook has fired the starting gun on the next round of cost-cutting at the troubled travel operator after it slumped to an "unacceptable" loss of £590 million.


Harriet Green, who joined the company as chief executive earlier this year from electronics firm Premier Farnell, announced plans to slash a further £100 million in costs and warned there would be more cuts to come.
