Towering at a toe-tingling 41 metres high, this extreme water slide in Brazil is so steep that if you're insane enough to slide down it you're likely to reach speeds of more than 100 km per hour.

Insano, aka the world's tallest water slide, is as high as a 14-story building, and its owners proclaim it as "the most extreme equipment of this type on the planet".

Built in 1989, the thrill ride attracts daredevils from all over the world - but mainly Europeans.

Martha Carolina, who works at the park, says: "It's funny to watch the tourists - they start panicking and sometimes they really start crying."

Which isn't really surprising. By the look on the face of the bloke in the picture below, it's not exactly our idea of fun...
