Penguin and Random House in talks over merger

Thriller writer John Grisham and Fifty Shades Of Grey author EL James could climb into bed with some of the world's most famous classical writers after two of the world's biggest publishers confirmed they were in talks over a potential merger.


The owners of Penguin and Random House, two of the world's "big six" publishers, are in discussions over combining their businesses, Penguin parent Pearson said.
