Former Dallas star Jack Scalia has been arrested for trying to board a plane with a gun at LAX Airport.

The 61-year-old, who played Nicholas Pearce on two stints in the show, was apprehended in LA after he was found to be carrying a Glock 9mm.

The weapon, which was not loaded, was found after his bag was put through the scanner.

"Sgt. Belinda Nettles of the LAX Police told the Daily Mail: "Today at approximately 1:00 p.m, Los Angeles Airport Police officers responded to Terminal 7 for a report of a weapon at the transportation security administration screening station.

"Our investigation revealed suspect, 61-year-old Jack Tomaso Scalia of Los Angeles had an unloaded weapon in his carry on bag."
