NHS food spend cut to 73p a meal

More money is spent on food for inmates in British prisons than on NHS patients in some British hospitals.

New figures from the Department of Health reveals that some hospitals trusts are spending as little as 73p per meal - Newham University Hospital Trust, for example - compared to some other NHS hospitals that spend at least £15 a day.%VIRTUAL-SkimlinksPromo%
