Rolling Stones fans to pay hefty price for anniversary gigs
The Rolling Stones are to hit the road once again after announcing their first live shows for five years. The ageing rock icons revealed yesterday that they will play four gigs - two at London's O2 Arena and two in the US.

But fans of the rockers will need deep pockets if they are to join in with the 50th anniversary celebrations, because tickets are going for up to £1,000.
The minimum price for a seat at the O2 Arena is £90 (not including VAT), but a standard ticket will set you back up to £375.
And if you're after the VIP treatment, which includes a champagne reception, three-course meal and a seat in the 'tongue pit', be prepared to fork out £950.
According to the Daily Express, it's rumoured that the Stones will earn something in the region of £16 million for the four gigs, so it's little wonder ticket prices are so high.
For many fans, the chance to see the iconic band one last time may well be worth the price... and it's possible there are more live dates to come.
Speaking to Chris Evans on Radio 2's breakfast show yesterday, Sir Mick Jagger said: "It's not a going to be a long tour, the first bit anyway. It's going to be a few gigs."
The band, who announced the gigs in a video message on their official website, have also recorded two new songs - Doom And Gloom and One More Shot - to coincide with their 50th anniversary, both of which will be included on a new greatest hits collection, Grrr!, due for release on 12 November.
Tickets for the London shows on 25 and 29 November go on general release on Friday, for those willing to pay the price.
