Paralympics success for Sainsbury's

Sainsbury's has emerged as the supermarket winner after this year's summer of sport as its sponsorship of the Paralympic Games helped boost its market share.


The UK's third biggest grocery chain grew its share of the sector to 16.5% in the 12 weeks to September 30 from 16.2% a year earlier after it put in the best sales performance of the "big four" brands, according to Kantar Worldpanel.
