Council tax hike for homes worth £1m?

If you live in a house worth more than £1m, the Lib Dems want more council tax from you. Lib Dem pressure is building on George Osborne to agree to up council tax for the better off, which could see two new bands introduced, I and J.

Currently the top rate of tax is around £168 a month. Such a move could see around 840,000 homes affected.
