Crocodile escapes on Qantas passenger plane

A crocodile escaped from its cage on a Qantas flight - and was found roaming the cargo hold by a baggage handler.
The croc managed to break free during a flight from Brisbane, and was found by the baggage handler when he opened the cargo hold.

The animal was reportedly quickly and safely returned to its cage, and Qantas confirmed its bid for freedom.
According to news.com.au, Qantas said in a statement: "The investigation is focusing on whether it had been loaded appropriately on delivery to AaE (Australian air Express)."
The size of the crocodile that escaped was not revealed but, according to the Daily Mail, it was not fully grown.
