£40m bounty to find illegal immigrants

Adrian Holliday

Services company Capita is to be paid up to £40m to find and detain up to 170,000 illegal immigrants who have gone AWOL.

Crucially, Capita will be paid on a payment by results basis. If an immigrant is tracked down and is unable to be deported, Capita won't be paid - though full details have yet to be confirmed.%VIRTUAL-SkimlinksPromo%
