A British couple have survived a dramatic road accident in Benidorm, after their car crashed through barriers and rolled 120ft down a cliff.
The Sun reports that Matt Woods and Chelsea Eastwood, who moved to Benidorm five months ago, were returning from a shopping trip on Friday when the accident happened.
They lost control of the car after swerving to avoid a cat, but escaped with minor cuts and bruises when their car came to rest on a walkway, below which was a 300ft drop to the sea.
Matt, who is originally from Oldham, Greater Manchester, told The Sun: "The back end of the car just went. The next thing I was rolling down the cliff. I don't think anyone could believe we survived."
