Tourists banned from Dubai hotel as Nicole Scherzinger films The X Factor

Holidaymakers in Dubai were reportedly left furious after being banned from their top hotel while The X Factor filmed Nicole Scherzinger arriving on a yacht.

Nicole made a very glamorous entrance into a Dubai harbour on the bow of a yacht for the Judges' Houses round of the show.

The singers in her boys category were waiting on the jetty to find out who would be mentoring, to find Nicole arrive, along with singer Ne-Yo.

Meanwhile, holidaymakers at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel weren't quite as excited with the wait.

One source told The Sun: "Several of the hotel's residents were kept waiting for more than an hour while they were trying to get back to their five-star suites after an afternoon jaunt.

"They weren't happy – these fantastically rich people are not used to being told they can't do what they want.

"But filming such an ambitious entrance takes a long time and the hotel were more than happy for The X Factor to take over the jetty and the harbour until they had everything they needed."
