In the wake of the publication of Prince Harry's naked holiday snaps, the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LCVA) has launched a new ad campaign reminding visitors of 'The Code': "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.

LCVA spokeswoman Courtney Fitzgerald told USA Today: "Las Vegas is about adult freedom. It's important for friends to know what activities can be shared publicly and what activities are protected by the code."

This weekend, the city tourism department launched an ad campaign shaming the person, or people, who took the camera phone photos of Harry that have now been viewed around the world.

The ad reads: "For Shame! To those who traded in their pledge to their Las Vegas brethren, WE DEPLORE YOU.

"We are calling on you, the defenders of what happens in Vegas staying in its rightful place - in Vegas.

"We shall boycott partying with (whoever exploited Harry). No bottle service. No bikini clad girls."

The ad then urges readers to clock on VisitLasVegas.com/knowthecode to sign a pledge to keep Vegas indiscretions in Vegas and to report those who share embarrassing Vegas pictures on Facebook.

Prince Harry was staying at a two-storey suite with its own pool in Steve Wynn's Encore resort when pictures of him playing strip billiards were taken on another partygoers' camera phone.

The suite, which usually rents for up to £5,000 a night, also has its own massage room.

According the The Telegraph, demand for holidays to Las Vegas has risen since the pictures of Prince Harry partying at his hotel were published.

Virgins airlines said that enquiries about package deals to Las Vegas had increased by almost a third since the naked pictures of Prince Harry appeared.
