Updates from BHP Billiton, Carillion and Soco Int

A +0.57% climb for the FTSE 100 yesterday, finishing at 5,857 points. Fresnillo was the day's biggest climber, up +5.82% while Morrisons dipped -1.19%. However FTSE 250 player Heritage Oil soared +21.95%.

Overnight in Asia poor Japanese economic data saw the Nikkei drop -0.44% while the Hang Seng saw a -0.91% dip.
