Have you left it until the last minute to organise your Bank Holiday weekend? So have we! Are you feeling a tad stretched on the money front? So are we! Desperate to escape to the countryside? Ditto!

That's why we asked Tripadvisor to suggest some nice late availability accommodation that won't break the bank. All these holiday rentals still are still free (as of August 12 2012), cost under £50 per person per night when fully occupied, and are in some of the most wonderfully beautiful parts of the UK. What more could you ask for?

This cute picturesque property is part of a converted 17 century barn. With one bedroom, it sleeps two people and costs £90 per night over the August bank holiday weekend. With a three acre wildlife garden, including barbecues, wildlife pond, herb garden and meditation garden. Visit Tripadvisor for more.

This cosy cottage in Sherborne has one bedroom, sleeps two and costs £60 per night over the August bank holiday weekend.  The Stables at Clare Cottage is close to some of the area’s best Gastro Pubs, breathtaking country and coastal walks and beautiful villages.

This traditional cottage in Llangollen is a charming little place with wooden beams. With two bedrooms, it sleeps up to eight and costs £110 per night over the bank holiday weekend - which means it's just £14 per night at full occupancy.Situated on the Horseshoe Pass, the property is wonderfully located offering privacy and seclusion, while remaining close to some of North Wales great attractions.

Little Orchard is an art deco-style detached house with rambling gardens. Its sleeps up to 14 in six bedrooms and costs £550 per night over the bank holiday weekend (which works out at £39 per person at full occupancy). Expansive, nicely decorated and within easy walking distance of Cowes Esplanade, seafront and the beach at the Royal Yacht Squadron, this is perfect for large groups.

Dean Street Townhouse is stylish and centrally located Brighton townhouse has three bedrooms, sleeps ten people and costs £495 per night during the August bank holiday weekend.  Newly-decorated with a private courtyard, the property is well-located for a weekend in Brighton with many bars, restaurants and shops nearby.

With 11 bedrooms, Cliff House sleeps 26 and enjoys an enviable Peak District location with 360 degree views of the area and excellent walks nearby. This beautiful house is just a short walk to the pretty villages of Great Longstone, Little Longstone and Ashford in the Water.

Red Tiles has two bedrooms, sleeps four and costs under £50 per person per night over the August bank holiday. The barn, with its red tiled roof, lies about one mile from Evercreech, on the outskirts of the farming hamlet of Stoney Stratton. The area is truly rural, with rolling hills and rich pasture all around. There are many local footpaths and lovely walks can be managed right from the doorstep.

Letter Box Cottage in Chipping Campden is a quaint cottage with two bedrooms. It sleeps four and costs £110 per night over the August bank holiday weekend (£28 per person at full occupancy).  The property, boasting lovely original features, has a beautiful rose garden and is a well-located base from which to explore the Cotswolds.

Beautifully located, Margaret Street Cottage cottage sleeps four and costs £105 per night over the August bank holiday weekend (£26 per person). Situated in the village of Avoch, on the Black Isle on the shores of the inner Moray Firth, this traditional fisherman's cottage retains much of its late 19th century character and is fully modernised to a high standard.

Nestled within a two acre garden and with Pennine views, this cottage has two bedrooms, sleeps four and costs £80 per night over the August bank holiday weekend.  Cherry Tree cottage offers beautiful views from the bedrooms and living rooms and larger groups can opt to also hire out the adjacent Heather Bank cottage.
