Travelex boosted by online demand

Currency exchange firm Travelex has hailed "exceptional growth" from emerging markets but admitted the Olympics was hitting revenues from business travellers.

The group has 1,100 foreign exchange shops in 25 countries but has also benefited from growing online demand after its revenues rose 9% and underlying profits lifted 8% to £21.3 million in the six months to June 30.%VIRTUAL-SkimlinksPromo%
