Superstitious motorists fret about "13" registration plate

The "62" registration plate is not yet upon us (it arrives on September 1), but motorists are already worrying about the "13" plate due on 1 March next year.

Car valuation experts , CAP, say that they have received a lot of enquiries about whether people could ask for the old "62" plate on their March 2013 car. CAP says that, despite rumours to the contrary, the DVLA has confirmed that every new vehicle will automatically carry a '13' plate.
