Watch: Dramatic river rescue of 'wedding caravan' after bridge collapse

Emergency services carried out a dramatic rescue when cars in a wedding caravan fell into a river after a bridge collapsed beneath them in China.

Torrential rains have been hitting the Chinese city of Linyi, with officials saying parts of the country are enduring the heaviest rains in six decades.

According to myfox10.com, emergency crews used rope to reach the party at the bottom of the broken bridge, but the rescue was inhibited by a mudslide.

A driver stuck in one of the crashed cars was the only one in the party that was hurt, but doctors said his injuries were not life threatening.
