A British woman who suffers from a rare condition called 'objectum sexuality' has told The Sun that she's in love with the Statue of Liberty.

Amanda Whittaker, 27, flew to New York last week to spend some time with 'Libby' and has revealed that visiting the statue was a sexually satisfying experience.

Her condition makes it possible for her to fall in love with inanimate objects, and her lust for the Statue of Liberty began when she visited in 2007.

Prior to that, her first love was a drum kit and she has also been attracted to flags.

But, she told The Sun, "none compares to my passion and lust for Libby."

She now wants to marry the statue and has recently changed her surname to 'Liberty' by deed poll.

She told The Sun: "I'm not weird, just unusual. I see a different side to objects. Libby is the love of my life and she feels the same for me."

Speaking of her recent visit, Amanda told The Sun: "It was like lightening between us. It was sexually and emotionally fulfilling. Libby satisfies my lovemaking needs."

She added: "I was overwhelmed with emotional and sexual excitement. When I saw her I almost cried.

"I could feel her hugging me. I cried out, 'I love you Libby' and tourists looked at me strangely.

"I wrote Libby a poem, we cuddled and I spent hours talking to her. I vowed to be faithful to her and she is faithful to me."
