Watch: Near catastrophe as lorry crashes into petrol station

A security video has captured the moment a lorry could have caused a potential catastrophe after it dramatically crashed into a petrol station in Ohio, America.

The female driver of the lorry is seen losing control as the vehicle crashes onto its side and slams into the pumps, narrowly missing other drivers.

The truck was coming off the motorway and turned right at an intersection when it lost control; the driver later told police that the brakes had stopped working.

Employees rushes to pull the woman out of the driving seat, and also helped a man out of the cabin.

Literally minutes earlier a car had been filling up at the same pump the lorry crashed into, according to the Telegraph.
