The FTSE 100 powered 1.25% ahead yesterday to 5,640 points - the EU optimism continues. Aviva was up +3.71% while the bigger loser was Admiral Group, falling -1.93%.

Overnight, Asian stocks rose again with the Nikkei climbing 0.6%. Returning from a three-day holiday, Hong Kong's Hang Seng lifted 1.5% on Tuesday.
