A hi-tech hotel as big as a cruise ship has been launched by Butlin's just in time for the summer holidays.

The Wave Hotel and Apartments in Bognor Regis is the company's biggest ever hotel innovation - and in a bid to capture the imagination of today's tech-obsessed kids, it's absolutely stuffed with everything a tweenager could dream of, from Wii consoles and iPod docks to IMacs and PS3s.

The £25 million Wave Hotel and apartments offers the choice between of self-catering apartments and catered hotel rooms: Kids' rooms have an underwater feel: they're designed to look like submarine cabins, complete with octopus murals and concept walls that turn into 3D scenes with a special app.
