Revealed! The ten best restaurants in London

With more than one million hungry tourists about to descend London to watch the 2012 Olympics, Tripadvisor has just announced its very timely Traveller's Choice awards for the top ten best restaurants in the capital.

Top of the list comes Le Gavroche, which also leads the list of Favourite restaurants in Europe - proving that London is now firmly on the destination list for foodies around the world.

"In the past, London has sometimes been derided for its culinary offerings," says Tripadvisor's Emma Shaw. "But now millions of Tripadvisor users have spoken, proving that London's restaurants are not only world-class, but enjoyed by those that really matter - diners."
