Synchronised swimming lessons, anyone?

Updated

Dust off those flowery swimming caps, get your nose clips at the ready and start practising those leg twirls - because London's Berkeley Hotel has announced a new synchronised swimming package in celebration of the summer Olympics.

The hotel has partnered with Aquabatix, an award-winning synchronized swimming team which will host a weekly 90-minute master class during the months of July and August in the hotel's beautiful open-air pool.

Swimmers will learn several key skills including the "egg beater" kick, a form of treading water that allows for stability and height above the water while leaving the hands free to perform strokes, and the session is completed with a choreographed routine with accompanying music.

But the icing on the cake is the rather scrumptious pool, which boasts panoramic views of the Hyde Park. Prices are £125 per person, classes are kept to a minimum of eight, which includes a full-on show by the famed team.
