650,000 part-timers earn £40,000

Hundreds of thousands of part-time workers are in jobs paying at least £40,000, dispelling the belief that senior posts are only available to full-timers, according to a report.

A study by Timewise, a jobsite dedicated to part-time jobs, showed that 650,000 people - one in 10 part-timers - were on a salary of £40,000 or more.
