How to complain effectively using Twitter

The Guardian carried an interesting article on Twitter, Facebook and other social media this week. It seems companies are at last waking up to the fact that the new - well, newish - networks are actually quite good as a vehicle for taking care of customers when they have a problem.

So who's good at it - and if you want to complain through the social networks what's the best way to go about it?
