British holidaymakers are enjoying 25% off their sun, sea and sand getaways as the euro crisis sees the strength of the pound soar.

And, if you're heading further afield, you can also expect big bargain boosts. Tourists travelling to Rio de Janeiro in Brazil will get 24.5% more for their money this year, or £86 for every £500 converted, according to a report in the Daily Mail.

Heading to Mexico? You;ll get 15.7% more pesos from your pound, and 16.7% more if you're planning a trip to South Africa.

Turkey and Croatia will also be top spots for Brits, according to the Post Office Travel Money research, which showed that the pound is stronger now in 24 of 30 leading holiday currencies.
