Nice neighbours worth over £15,000

Four in 10 Britons would pay an extra £15,321 for a home if they knew their next door neighbours would be trustworthy, quiet and courteous, according to new research from property website Find A Property.

It also found that some 1.5 million buyers would fork out more than 20% of the property price - or £40,837 on a typical home - for this additional peace of mind.
