Half of pay deals 'worth around 3%'

Over half of recent pay deals were worth at least 3%, with one in five worth 4% or more, according to a new study.

Research by Incomes Data Services (IDS) among settlements in the three months to February showed that median deals had increased from last year's 2.5% following an improved outlook in industries such as heavy engineering and vehicle manufacturing.
